Dana Herrera is a nationally published magazine feature writer and Lena M. Todd award winning creative non-fiction writer, a college English instructor and a lover of miniature sized animals.
Her wide range of journalistic inquiry include: The intersection of art and science, scientific research ethics, the use of technology in higher education, women and friendship, parenting, Safe Schools and anti-bullying in the workplace, career development, PMI and algorithms.

When she settled in to her new home office to write she entertained her little one with online toddler games and long-lasting activities for her then one-year-old. As her little one grew, she longed for the company of other moms and of course playmates for her little one so she learned how to start a toddler playgroup. In her group - Dana shared new found activities for her then two-year-old.

She took some time to make friends and follow the rules of female friendship. She made some great friends, but when she got into an argument with one of her dearest girlfriends she had to learn how to handle her friendship breaking up.
Good thing she made it through.
