Weight Loss Plateau

If you are attempting to lose weight with the Nintendo Wii Fit, but have noticed your weight loss level off recently, you may have reached what diet experts call, a fitness plateau. According to Eugenie Jones in the article "Avoid plateaus" [Scripps Howard News Service, September 09, 2004], plateaus occur when your body adapts to your workout routine.

Therefore, the Super Hula Hooping and Training Challenges you had regularly been incorporating into your three times per week Nintendo Wii Fitroutine are just not enough to challenge your improving body! Now that your body has adapted to your yoga and stretch combinations and your trainer challenges - it is seeking something more stimulating.

This is where our slim down secrets come in! Read on for hints on losing even more weight playing Nintendo Wii Fit fitness games.

Change the Game

When your body has adapted to the exercises for your Nintendo Wii Fit it is time to change the game. Literally. Both offer a personalized approach to fitness to help you reach your personalized goals. Each game also includes a wide variety of unique exercises designed to mix up your routine and take you to the next level of Wii fitness.

Does anyone out there like the Jillian Micheals workout? It got such aweful reviews that I don't want to waste money on it. My Fitness Coach seems neat. Does it use the balance board?

I have had My Fitness Coach for 3 weeks and love it. I wanted to get a game that used the balance board, but unfortunately I read too many terrible reviews about the Jillian Michaels game, so I opted for My FItness Coach. All I can say is it kicks my a$$! If you want a serious workout I highly recommend it!

I bought the Jillian Michaels workout and it is awful. My Fitness Coach is fun even though it doesn't use the balance board. I wish there were more games for the Wii Fit. I bought a winter games for the Wii Fit and I don't like that one either.

I would recommend the Rayman Raving Rabbid's TV Party game. It's childish in humor and such, but the dancing games are wonderful for warm-ups and there are various balance type games. It does use the WII Balance board and most of the games give your arms a good workout. I bought this game when I bought my Wii Fit because I figured if I had the Wii there was no sense in buying sit down games. The dancing games have 3 levels to choose from, and vary in body involvement. I haven't been able to use the Board yet with any of the games (I'm on the higher end of the measurable weight limit) but it's a nice goal to work towards.
